In the 60's people took acid to make the world weird.

- - - - Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

Oh, Lord! Were these supposed to have a moral???

No, I don't think there's any morality here, one way or another. Someone rather odd sent it to me and I thought it was weird... but interesting. Not deep, though the world definitely seems weirder than ever.

Nobody in my family takes Prozac, so I'm not sure it really does make the weird seem normal.

I know so many taking it; and I do see the underlining of a sardonic morality play. All my friends are better for it - but I wish I could have them as them! Thanks!

Thank you, Rae, I am. I see I need to watch it when I cut and paste!

Here's another one from Will Rogers that I like:

Ohh, I love that one. That's in one of my cowboy humor books. I should dig that out -- man, it had some great quotes. (However, I think you may already have taken the best one.)

Ha ha, cute little jumpy guys there, Rae. I've got to figure out how to do that one of these days.

Piffka, thanks. I think that is probably one of the best quotes ever!

And here's yet another from Will Rogers (one of my favorites, in case you haven't noticed):

After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring. He kept it up until a hunter came along and shot him. The moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut.

There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.
