I finally ordered myself a Concept 2 Rower!

Now, I've got to wait about 2 weeks for it to arrive.

I am SO excited.

mmm....with the right technique, it'll strenghen everything.

lats, pecs gluts, back, traps, triceps, thighs.

this is the only exercise that can put me in a meditative state.

Now I can row and not have to listen to the gym rats and everything.

On their website, there's a logbook where you can interact with other rowers and log your progress and all kinds of other cool stuff.

I gotta concept 2, I gotta concept 2.....

I'm glad you bought the concept 2, Chai, as the orgasmotron on the 2 is far more durable than that weedy little thing that was on the 1.

I must warn you though, that your face will cramp because of excess smiling for the first two weeks.

The Concept II is the best stationary exercise device ever.
Excellent choice.
Now, what's your best time for 2000 meters?

i wonder how many of these machines are resting (or should that be "rusting" ?) comfortably in apartments and basements all over america ?
i bet the delivery people get more exercise delivering them than many purchasers of the machines .

No idea, it's been so long and never wrote anything down.

I'll need a little time to get back up to performance. I don't want to get carried away before I see if this was something that caused those rrhoids...I've searched and searched the internet, and asked my doctor, and could find no connection, so we'll se.
You know, whenever I've gotten into that zone where the body's humming along, it feels like you're so powerful and graceful.

Once at the gym, Queen was playing....We Will Rock You....that is the perfect beat when you're trying to gain time.

Actually, I don't go for fast time, more for longevity. I'm not at all competitive.

Well, I just took a 500 meter challenge and came in @ 2:43. That pulled up my ranking from the first time I clocked 500 meters by 6 ranks. (out of 177 total) The first time I was 2nd to last in my age catagory, now I'm 169.

It only took a few rows to get back into the groove. Now I'm doing 5000 meters a day (aiming for doing this 6 days a week) and that takes 35 to 36 minutes.

I made myself a speadsheet, for meters/kilometers and times, and a convertion to miles, and so far, as of yesterday, have clocked in a little over 19 miles in 6 sessions. That increasing from 3500 meters to 1500 meters a shot.

OK, that's a lot of numbers, but actually doing the rows are so relaxing.

Chai, can you post naked photos of yourself on a daily basis so that we, as a community, can monitor your progress and see just what sort miracle machine this truly is?

This will strictly be for research and, who knows, maybe you could get some commission from the company if one of us decides to buy one.

Chai Tea,

I'm really proud of you! It looks like you're starting off the New Year right! By next New Year's Eve, you're going to be one hot babe.

I just hope Wally Tea can handle it!

Btw, speaking of hot, who's the handsome guy in Shewolf's avatar? HOTCHA! HOTCHA!
