How do I prevent water ingress to sill on Maxda MX5

My MAZDA MX5 (Mk. 1) keeps getting water in the near side sill and needs to be drained out frequently thro' a hole drill in bottom of sill. How do I prevent water getting in to sill?

In all likelihood, you don't. Miata's are notorious leakers... it's part of the fun!

You might want to check how tight the roof is. Turning the latch 360 degrees will tighten it... but don't overdo it or your back window will tear out. Enjoy!
