Here in Albaturky down on the old rte 66 (central ave) there is a drug store named Duran's Pharmacy which has a small cafe in the back which (as far as I can tell) has no menu and only sells breakfast burritos (I'v not bean there for lunch) there is a sign in the window by the front door that states "Curandera on duty"
Kinda like goin' into a greasy spoon with a sign which says "Paramedics on duty." Not really confidence inspirin' . . . how are the burritos?

wonderful, fried spuds, chorizo, bacon, scrambled eggs all smothered with green chilies wrapped in a flour tortilla. good american food.

I used to get a good breakfast like that at Cafe del Arroyo outside Espanola, but all laid out on a plate, not wrapped up in a tortilla--those were on the side. They would bring you sopapillas with honey when you finished your breakfast.
