In fact, caribou, email me too
[email protected]
If I was going to do email, I would have done it a long time ago, when people were helping each other with the contest.
Now I am shudnup.
Now here's a security issue you can help me with. This has never happened before.
I always get those emails that say my home mortgage has already been approved, but I still have to send my account information. I know they are fake, but I can't make them go away.
BUT, today, I got a real one from EBay, saying that there was an irregularity with my account, and that I could not use PayPal because there was an irregularity with my account numbers.
I don't have an EBay account, and I don't have a PayPal account. That one really made me nervous, because I have never used EBay at all! I checked the certificate and the site and it sure did seem to be from the real EBay, and the email took me to what appeared to be the real Ebay.
That makes me nervous.
Jeez ... I am breaking a vow to answer this.
Never respond to an email asking for any type information. They look perfectly legit until you dig into the buried routing code. A legitimate business would NEVER request information this way. They would ask you to go to their secure website (not one supplied in an email). Any link supplied in an unsolicited email of this type is collecting personal information for criminal use!
Hi, Toots,
Long time no see.
Don't forget to put a pancake on your head and duck for cover!

No, it was definitely my address. Maybe one of my kids is using it.
If you go back a few pages you will see the cutest picture of a bunny with a pancake on his head. The rest of it is sheer nonsense. LOL!
