A guy just came in to buy it, and low and behold he looks just like the owners son. Almost identical. Kinda weird that he looks just like him and is on that truck.. Kinda spooky!!!
Did the owner say anything? I would have got the eevy jeevies.

sorry uncle. just missed ya.
Hi. I am one of those lurkers, I suppose, as I have not posted anything in here until now. I have been reading quite a bit of what you all have had going on in here. I see that you have gotten pretty close and I see that you don't necessarily mind newcomers. I was hoping I could discuss one of my answers to see if anyone came up with anything similar. The question I want to talk about is the dreaded #44. Please, if you don't mind, let me know. Thanks
I do not mind, but I am not sure I can be of much help. Ask away.
I have to leave
bye for now
What Happened? Where did everyone go? Are ya all just waiting for someone to go first?
For #44 I have Cassie's Supper Club & Dancehall.
I checked every bar, restaurant, tavern, saloon, honky tonk and dancehall in at least 11 different states. I could not find any that I thought were right. I went back and forth between Casino El Camino, but that has "casino" in it, and few others: 505 Mendocino was the only other one I thought might work.
Cassie's is right on Yellowstone Avenue. You don't necessarily go there to flaunt, because people go there after the rodeo and I assumed they might be dusty! There is no gambling or betting allowed. It was built in 1922 and renuvated in 1995, so I made the assumption that it had a new floor. It was old enough to need one! Also, from it's website, it was very fitting and is a cowboy bar and restaurant place. The others were mostly bars and didn't even have dancefloors.
I never believed that it was two or three separate places like drive on by the Caucus Club and then down the avenue to somewhere else.
I finally settled on Cassie's because it was the only one that I could find that fit the clue.
It must be too close to Christmas and everybody's wrapping those last minute presents. I bought some today, but I forgot the wrapping paper and tape!
I'm still here, all alone! Maybe it's just too late tonight. Where is that fly-by Horsey and that fly-by-night Cowgirl?
The one I have been wondering about is #86.
At around 50 years, a famous desert icon tends to develop counterweights to keep itself upright. Name the state were the silhouetted western figure is currently seen on the official standard state license plate.
It looks like everybody picked Arizona. I would sure like to know the reasoning for that answer.
As long as I'm all alone, I guess I'll just keep going!
For #40, I have:
Grant-Kohrs Ranch National Historic Site
It was originally one of the largest ranches in the west (or the largest) something like 10 million acres! The picture of it now shows only the 670 acres that the gov't. bought that was originally nothing but the headquarters of the ranch itself. It was 10 million acres! Those buildings were the headquarters. The gov't. bought the headquarters and turned those 670 acres into a working cattle ranch. So the headquarters are now the cattle ranch. Heads of cattle and there hindquarters abound in the place that was the headquarters.
Also, the DVD focuses on the heads and the hindquarters of those cattle and I was quite sure that was a clue for something.
The maps in the book do show the area of the Grant-Kohrs Ranch. It is located in Montana.
I don't know the reasoning for those other answers, and I don't know if I'm right. Don't kick me with your ankle bracelets!
It just seemed to me so obvious for that one, that I was very surprised at the many different answers that abound!
