I've got some mixed feelings too. I haven't seen anyone use quotation marks on any of their answers except me. There I go trying to be an individualist again. Surprised

Assault went to san peppy badger or whatever, eisenhower tunnel went to bore, andy's just plum fell out of the name, and i dont think anyone knows what hole you fall in for the beauty sleep, Texas went from uss texas, texas texas, to who knows. Now lets all say Good Luck again....... Good Luck Everybody!!!

Craters of the Moon National Monument has Dewdrop and Beauty Caves. But there's also a sleeping beauty turqouise mine in AZ. Still, I went with the monumental hole in the ground. Cowgirly, don't feel too bad. We all made stupid mistakes. But so far, you've got the second best answers I've seen so far. Right behind me. Razz

I still think it's Assault. As for Armadillo World Headquarters, I thought that , too, because of the christmas bazaar which changes locations every year, but then I started thinking that heads and hindquarters had to do with livestock and found out that an American Purebreed Cattle originated in Texas and now has several headquarters in Australia, as well as homes in many other places in the US and World. Still haven't seen my wonder yet. It's actually a city with a real name. Or my Penny in the Park. It doesn't even have the word penny in the answer.

I don't feel bad at all Nu2u. We all went with what we all felt were the correct answers, and we won't know who's right until June. Smile

#40 Patee House Museum in St. Joseph, Missouri. It used to be the Headquarters to all for the Pony Express (Hotel Patee). In the 90's, a couple donated a carousel with hand-carved animals on it. I got the warm fuzzies when I found this. I'm feeling that this is the "hindquarters" they are looking for.

I could be wrong, but couldn't find anything else where it was a and a significant change with respect to the headquarters and hindquarters thing.
