Here's another perspective on religions. About 85 percent of the world population believes in one religion or another. All religions teach good social behavior, but I see more failures than benefits. In other words, religious' belief on many adherents have not made a positive impact on ethics or humanity - GWBush being a good example. If we look at all the captains of industry that have cheated their brothers and sisters to enrich themselves, I'm sure a survey would show that 85 percent of those adhere to one religion or another - the same as the world population. It seems to me that all the good teachings have not been effective. c.i.
