Hi
Has anyone ever seen a Auguste Rodin watercolor landscape he painted in late 1800`s. I`m looking for that work for referance .Can`t find any in bios.
Thanks Rich
Hi, I've never heard of that, would like to see it myself.
Perhaps someone who knows about how best to research that will notice this thread.
Did you google Rodin + landscape painting, or Rodin + painting, or Rodin + watercolor, on both google web and google images?
Thanks Ossobuco
Thanks for info,Yes I have been Googling for 5 or 6 days ,yet to no avail I`m not having any luck,All I can find are his sometimes erotic watercolor paintings,
I know someone has one because there are mentioned in his bio,as to saying he painted many during a short period,in his mid life.
I just want to see what they loook like.
Thanks
Rich

Ive sen a number of his watercolor portraits and nudes at the Rodin museum in Philly. Never any landscapes. Ichecked their catalogue and non were listed.
Various collections have some of Rodin's landscape paintings, the most are certainly to be found in the Rodin Museum in in Paris.
Four of those are
