Recipes for a 4 quart Crock Pot

Hi, just purchased a 4 quart oval and a 4 quart round Rival crock pots and am wondering how to use recipes that state for a larger crock pot. Also, is there a cookbook or website specifically for the smaller crock pots?

I used these to get started with my new crockpot a few years ago. I have the oval 4-quart one too.

Another thing you might try, Banquet and Marie Callendar's have both come out with Crockpot meals in a bag that are perfect for the 4-quart.

I've tried all the Banquet ones. They're a couple bucks cheaper than the Marie Callendars.

That will give you some good experience with amounts and cooking times that you can put to use when combining your own ingredients.

Recipes for crockpot
Thank you all for your replies. I am presently cooking a chicken dinner in the crockpot. Not comfortable yet about leaving it on if I am not home. Had to be home today so thought it a perfect time to use it.

Will let you know how it turns out. Smells good!

Thank you again. Smile
