Of course, there are people who think that fundamentalist Christians are the ultimate evil. I personally think anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal saviour should be avoided like the plague.

that's a bit harsh. just because our beliefs are different from yours doesn't mean we are diseased.

You seem to be an exception, rockpie, though your kind may exist in abundance.

Thing is that we hear very little about those christians who truly have accepted Jesus as their savior. They mainly stick to themselves and try to be happy and do right.
Those we see and hear about very often are the ones who have not let Jesus into their hearts, but who are using Jesus to shield their hearts from the attrocities they commit. With a sword in one hand, and a bible in the other. These are dangerous people.

Not harsh at all. Many people deeply distrust religious people or else dismiss them as simpletons or shun them as hypocrites.
