I'm moving n U haul is so much money, does anyone know cheap movers?
U-haul is by far the cheapest way to go.
With movers you are not only paying for their equipment, but for they're labor hours, storage, and man hours, not to mention administrative costs and insurance.
If you use a mover to move your entire household across country, chances are you will not be getting your stuff moved into your new place anytime soon.
They will pick up your things, along with the belongings of others, all stored in separate areas of the truck, as they travel across the country. Hey, you didn't think they would drive coast to coast just with your stuff, did you?
Then, when they get to they're general destination, they will have to deliver all the various customers belongings. You will be somewhere on that list as they unload.
Are you moving because of your job? In that case will your employer pick up part of the cost?
Moving expenses can also be a deduction on your income taxes.
However, if you want your things to arrive with you, the cheapest way, it's obvious that the cheapest way is to do it yourself.
Would you move all someone heavy things and carry them across country for what a Uhaul costs? I doubt it.
no i would do everything myselp just wanted to know whos the cheapest, as in renting trucks
U-Haul may not be the cheapest.
You need to contact U-Haul and their competitors (Ryder, Penske, etc..)and see how things work out.
Most of these companies have a daily fee plus a mileage fee.
U-Haul tends to have low daily fees but high mileage fees.
Ryder has a higher daily fee but lower mileage fee.
If you are going a long distance in a short period of time Ryder usually works out better. If you aren't going far or need to keep the truck for a long period of time U-Haul ends up being cheaper. You need the rates and then you can calculate which is the cheapest for your move.
