I have no idea the history on the Rainsoft water softner that we have. We had it looked it at by Rainsoft when we first moved into this house(previous owners built the house, foreclosure ,now we own it) all worked fine.
now it beeps till i hit program and then its fine.
any ideas what makes it go off. I have set the clock on it etc.

Salt level is low. Is it a Gold series or a Q?
Add salt if needed and enter the correct numer or weight into the computer.
Also, the 9-V battery may need to be changed...
not sure what is it for Q or gold
but nothing on program face to enter in weight. just progrom/hour /min or regenerate that is it. no other #'s or buttons.
will check on the battery thing
salt not low, not even 1/4way down almost full
might call rainsoft to see what they say

Can you post or email a picture of the face?
Once I see it I can explain how to set it.
