What was the best thing you have eaten in the last 7 days?
mostly crap this week
but the best of the best, hmmmm...
breakfast - little place in the beaches (toronto) called the sunshine grill or something like that, best eggs, sausage and home fries ever, and home made thick sliced brown bread
lunch - simple stuff is best, something like a ploughman's lunch, nice selection of bread, cheese, fruit, some meats and a pint (or two) of cold beer
supper - little italian place near yonge and eglinton (toronto), can't remember the name, veal in a brandy sauce with raisins and pine nuts, served on a bed of rissotto
7 grain kashi with mushrooms. made with left over au jus instead of water.
Going back to school has not been good for the diet. The cafeteria makes really good pizza.
>waddle, waddle<
Starting from next week Im cooking myself only healthy food, new recipes, cant wait!!
For breakfast, re-heated meatloaf, lightly sauteed with onions and garlic.
For lunch, cold meatloaf sammiches.
For supper, fresh meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and a vegetable to keep the Sweetiepie Girl happy, and believing that i eat a healthy diet.

How about You Bohne?
Bleedin' fishy salad, as I'm still on this poxy diet. Three more pounds to my target weight, so I shall probably attempt to kill myself with cholesterol this weekend, and get back to the bleedin' fishy salads again on Monday.
I swear I am growing gills.

Well, now you'll have to post a piccy of yourself, all slimmed down.
I had baked tilapia for dinner one night, marinated in olive oil, lime juice, and ginger. That was good but not all that wonderful. But, I had leftovers since I cooked a pound of it. I've used the leftover fish mixed with mayonaise to make a spread for sandwiches, like I do with tuna. That turned out to be wonderful -- I may stop buying canned tuna.

You want to eat Bohne . . . that definitely qualifies as too much information . . .
Get a room, you two . . .

I guess there shoulda been a comma or sumpthin' in there.
osso....good idea....I'm gonna try that.
I'll tell you fu*kers what: if you live near York, Maine, get your ass up to Stolen Menu Cafe. Some of the best food I've ever had, they serve breakfast & lunch(but the lunch is still geared more toward breakfast). Not your typical greasy-crap breakfast food, it's all good.
I ate there about 2 months ago, and want to drive the hour back just to go there again.
Tell them Slappy Doo Hoo sent you. They'll look at you funny and say "who?" but you should anyway.
(I forgot to say I added fresh basil to that too, Chai.)
It turned out to be economical as well - I think I paid 5.99 a pound for the fish, and got a lot of meals out of it.
Chai Tea, 'Bohne' is the German word for bean...

Probably the fruit salad my husband made yesterday.
I was looking for some good ideas on what to cook next week, though!
