Cat bit your bums, or something?

That would be the apogee of excitement for some here.

Hey Ms Olga-

You should see them killing insurgents in Afghanistan. If the locked thread shocks you I wouldn't look to closely at that.

Good morning, spendius.

Just catching up on many threads I've missed over the weekend.
What a shame. The British thread seemed such a great idea. So many interesting Brit posters here now. I thought it'd be wonderful. Sad

Yeah, as you can see, Deb.

A real pity, hey? We now have such an interesting & varied British contingent here. Lost opportunity. Sad

Hi Olga and Hi too dwolan.

Are you just entering the very worst part of the day. You've seen nothing yet.

Just wait till Mr Panesar arrives. I wouldn't prepare any pitches to suit Mr Warne if I was you. Monte will skittle your top order out quickstyle on one of those.

Neither Deb nor I are cricket tragics.
But there are quite a few in the Oz A2K community who are. Perhaps they'll know what you're talking about?

Well, I'd speak very sternly to it for starters, pd. Especially if it was a rolly-polly, well-fed one! And even more sternly if it was a pet rabbit that met such a nasty end! Bad pussycat!

Brits have earnt the right to be grumpy. we have great qualifications.
We also have rolf harris & dame edna pouring good will all over us

#1 we have the worst weather

#2 we have the worst government

#3 we have bloody awful TV progs

I'm still wondering how we won some cricket this oast 2 years. that has reduced our grumpy capacity

England has never enjoyed a genuine social revolution. Maybe that's what's wrong with that dear, tepid, vapid, insipid, stuffy, little country.

Could you delete the TV shows (I love them) and replace it with teeth or food?

I'd be pretty grouchy, too (read that Pissed) if I had to eat your food, too, LE. Well, not YOURS, per se, but generally speaking in the public domain.

I suppose we could reinstate the TV shows into the "good pile"

you can include teeth as bad but not food. that is vastly improved, due in part to our ever increasing overseas travel, ethnic restaurants, TV cooks & vastly more & more foreign foods in the supermarkets as well as in the specialist outlets.

I shall now return to practising my guitar chords
