water softner won`t start

hello ppl.

yesterday i fixed my rainsoft water softener system and it only works when i push start cycle and then enter,i set start time @ 2:00am and now it is second day that is not doing it...any ideas are welcome?

i feel so stupid Embarrassed

i set cycle start 2am and i set time at 2am to be 2pm, and wondering how come it wont start on cycle time when i set it.
