Old drawing, who and what is it?

Hi people of the art world! Very Happy
I found this old drawing that my husbands father owned when he was alive, we are trying to find out who the artist might be and if it is worth anything, the signatures on the drawing seem to be "Dixon", both at the bottom and on the bull.
The paper is old and yellow, but the drawing is still in very good condition.
Anyone know anything about this, or is it junk?

Thanks!

DarkAnnie, Welcome to A2K. I cannot help you identify the sketch, but I love it. I think I might know someone who can, however.

Frankly, I don't like the style of drawing (too much like an exercise for people learning to draw), and I checked with someone who used to fight bulls (calves on a ranch that raised fighting bulls) and has a strong sense of the aesthetic of the bullfighter's posture and moves. She says it is neither realistic (i.e., the feet of the bull in relation to the fighter and his posture is not "proper." In other words, she thinks the artist was not much of an officionado of the bull fight.

I am certainly not an expert but, officionado or not, the style is certainly interesting.

Thanks for the input guys!
Personally I have no idea about bullfighting or whatnot, but we still think it is quite a neat drawing even if it is just random sketch.
Let me know if anyone finds something about it though!
Cool

I don't know whose it is. But it looks nice. Put it on ebay or something, see if there are people who know it's value Razz

What I DO like in the picture is the impression I get that the bull is suffering. I've already painted two pictures of "suffering" bulls (Islero and Grandadino--for the officionados).
