Jerry Lewis

No idea.
I miss Jerry Lewis.His films used to fill the school holidays when I was young.
ahh, those were the days.

I thought I read, a few days ago, that he was sick again.

According to M.D.A and also through a Google search of "Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon" and then clicking on NEWS, he will be doing it again this year for the 41st consecutive telethon. He's 80 now and in failing health, I sure hope somebody is ready to step up and take over when he goes.


This year the telethon is being dedicated to the late Robert Ross, who after some 40 years with M.D.A. passed away this past June.

Jerry has done a ton of work getting research money for the
study of this terrible disease. I remember once meeting him at a theatre in Chicago, in the afternoon.

It was a large theatre ( 2000 seats ) but only about 200 were filled. None the less, Jerry put on a great performance on the stage, singing and do a little tap dance style.
