@engineer,
Venus is through to the Semi's, first time she's made it this far in this decade. Kerber will be a tough out if she want to make the finals (against Serena maybe).

@engineer,
Serena through as well. If both sisters make it to the finals, it will be their fifth meeting for the title. Serena is up 3-1.

@engineer,
Photo from the Guardian. This one just leapt out at me.

@engineer,
Some people refer to her as manly. I think she's womanly--powerful and strong--through and through.

@Walter Hinteler,
3 match points saved from what I read, all on his serve, but one on his second serve.

Well the bad news is that Venus lost her first grand slam semi in about 50 years. The good news is that it will be easy to figure out who to cheer for in the final on the women's side.

On the men's side I think Federer knows it's now or never.

Since we've lost the semi-finals in the EU-championship, that's easy, indeed.

Or didn't you mean that? Wink

Raonic through to the finals over Federer. Watching Berdych showing Murray how to play net. Might not be enough though.

@engineer,
Murray won - second good match of the day. Sorry to see Federer out earlier, but Raonic played beautifully - a worthy winner. Looking forward to Sunday!

Milos Raonic amazed a lot of people today.

Just listening to a radio interview with the man who started coaching him when he (Milos) was 8 years old. Sounds like he was a great kid to work with.

@ehBeth,
He amazed me. When I saw him play at Indian Wells I didn't think he could best Federer.
Congratulations to him and Canada

I plain old love Federer, but time passes, and he of all tennis players knows. Maybe he is not done.

@panzade,
It's the first time a Canadian has made it this far. Pretty exciting.

It doesn't look too good for Williams in the moment ... but she'll come back, I think ...

@Walter Hinteler,
She didn't - just a bit more than one hour, and Kerber won the Wimbledon championship.
