Warner Home Video today released
"Errol Flynn: The Signature Collection" box set of dvd's, including "Captain Blood," "Dodge City," "They Died With Their Boots On," and "The Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex." I have the Warner Bros.
"Gangster Collection", so I can attest that WHV does a very good job with their box set collections of classic movies. Any true fan of swashbuckling needs to pick up this set, although Flynn's best film, "Robin Hood," is not part of the collection (it was released by WHV in 2003 in a two-disc set). Plus, we need to encourage companies to make more of their film libraries available (preferably in low-cost, high-quality editions).
Meanwhile, I still eagerly await the restored version of "King Kong" on dvd.
