this thread gives me a reason for pointing out that Petaluma is the site of the World Wristwrestling Championship: Razz

not far to the west of Petaluma is Point Reyes, one of the beautiful places on the Pacific Coast

Ya mind sharing Soz?

Sure thing sublime.

It's actually making a dent in my crazy-making cough, too. Life is good.

I had a toothache when doing a country clinic once....took a Mersyndol, which is full of codeine I trow.

I became moribund.........unable to move, open my eyes or talk properly.

By some weird turn of fate, my three families after the ingestion of said anaelgesic did not turn up, and, being serendipitously allocated the room used by the visiting psychiatrists when they were up, which had a sofa, I was able to be moribund in peace......only being sufficiently roused to move my moribundity to our motel by my colleagues at the end of the day.

Cheap thrills. It would have been a very major challenge to see clients, I can tell you.

I am sorry to hear you still suffer from a dreaded lurgy Sozobe.

Here is OUR Petaluma:

The cold went away and then something else moved in and I have bronchitis and a cough like a basso profundo opera singer who smoked way the hell too much. Had me doubled up and gasping for air a few too many times, finally went to urgent care and got the goooooooood stuff. Helping, definitely helping.

I didn't realise any of dys's threads had a rational purpose! What on earth made him think they did? Dyslusional!

I didn't realize any A2K threads had a rational purpose, Margo. That's a scary thought, actually.

So...now that you're drugged and helpless...what grossly impertinent questions can we trick your altered consciousness into letting past the keeper?

I will bravely posit that Soz has allergy, but remain quiet as I can be soooo wrong.

Do you think our Petty Lumas should become sister folk?
No, me either.

My time in Petaluma in the last decade was mostly spent at a Travel Lodge, a relatively inexpensive place to stay while visiting San Francisco during the daytime. My dad was born not so far away from Petalum about a century ago. I've a certain bemusement as I see land values soar.
