Well I have seen it in several places that they do a background check. And that sounds reasonable because they sure wouldn't want to have "Chester the Molester" in the spotlight with Marlboro!!
I am sorry to step on toes here but there is no felon check no nothing.. The only people who cannot go to the ranch this year are those who have already went. OWTW 1 and 2. Everyone else can go. I called them for a team member of mine. The marlboro woman said it doesnt matter if they have an ankle bracelett on if they can phycically get there then they can go.

I find it pretty difficult to believe that Marlboro is going to have a winning team that has recent felonies representing them. I know that last contest even a deferred adjudication kept one team in the Top 20 from getting the ranch trip. I'm sure they would love to release to the press the picture of their million dollar winning team with one of the members in leg irons.
I agree, 1st of all you would have to have permission from your probation officer to leave the county you live in. That is a pretty far distance to try and monitor someone with leg ets.. If i had one on and they let me go to montana for a week, whoa i would party like there is no tommorrow. I dont think that is gonna happen, all they have to do is say you didnt make it...

Also if they have been to the ranch before ( not from wining a contest) and were tossed out for acting up they will not be able to attend. My friend and I wend a over a year ago and we had a few people get tossed and sent home. They will not be allowed to go back. Even if they win. If someone brought a knife or gun and had to leave the ranch for that reason they will not be allowed back either. FYI
Help Needed With Marlboro Contest
Hey everyone, been gone a week and all "hell" has broken loose on this forum! Think everyone should just go buy a lottery ticket and keep your fingers crossed! See so many ppl trying to help out with the tips and clues and then see ppl shooting them down, big time. Hey....it all boils down to "DOING THE RESEARCH YOURSELF", don't depend on anyone to just hand you the answer! Take the hints and run. and be grateful if it works out! I have 3 other team members and I know that only 2 of us are working on the answers, so our chances are slim to none that we will make it, I'm just having alot of fun in the process. You nay sayers need to get the heck outta here and leave us alone....go bother someone else.

My daughter was invited to the ranch in July of this year and was told that no one with a felony record could come or be her guest. I would think that would also apply to the OWTW contest.

I have answers to 1, 2 I am going with RMOF--because of the "ain't the stones" part, 3,4,6,7,9,10,13,14,16,17,18,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,28,29,30-- i think you guys are going the wrong direction with the nautical theme here--"don't have to worry about missing the boat" 31,33,34,36,37,38,41,42,45,46,47,48,49,50,51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59,62-going with deadwood 63,64,65,67,68,69,72,73,74 goin 13- 75,76,77,79,80,81,82,83,85,86,88,89,90,92,93,95,96,97,98,100- am willing to help if anyone wants it and would love clues for any i am missing-- seems we are all struggling with the same few tho--again thanks for all the help

also i just watched the dvd again and tried to map the trip the fells are taking--think i have an answer for 19 except that would kinda back track the boys-- breakfast in escalente (sp) the Golden Loop Cafe but my possible answer for 19 is back in Moab -that would mean the fellas were drinking and driving-- and doing it in the dark! (omg that sounds nasty-- didn't mean it like that--)- am i making too big a deal about this?
also about the felony thing-- felony arrests or convictions? not for me but just curious---
27 i have been looking at the mormon trail-- there are bike paths thru the Big Mountain Pass- no references to the cost - but the Oregon trail history also references a road built to get a round MT Hood-- and they charged 5 bucks a wagon
