Morrowind is the 3rd addition, but I can find nothing on the first two.
Anyone Know?
These are part of the Elder Scrolls series. I have never played any, but have been considering Morrowind. If you have played it or do in the future, please let me know what you think.
Arena
Daggerfall
Battlespire
Redguard
As you can see, there is more than 3 in the series. I'm not sure why but I think they may be considered 'continuing adventures' of previous releases. I have listed them in order of release date. However, it notes that Battlespire is #1 and Daggerfall is #2, even though Daggerfall was released first. And Arena was released before both of them, but doesn't note that it's the first in the series. Dunno....
Maybe someone else around here has a better understanding of the logic behind it.
love love love morrowind. they're about to put out the new one. I don't know alot about the previous games, but the new one seems to be called elder scrolls lll too. go figure.
Sugar - maybe later released olnes are pre-quels?
Morrowind... is possibly the best game I have ever played.
GTA 3 in the Middle Ages with many, many more missions, and a Lord of the Rings twist. It's hard to get others realize the greatness of the game, but I as always highly recommend Morrowind.
Tribunal is the new expansion pack for Morrowind, it is not an entirely new game. I have it, it's a new city, an new mission, new armor, and you can load it in at any time in your morrowind experience without having to restart.
NNY - checked out your profile and then your site. Wow! Going back to surf some more. Very cool. Wish I was in the San Jose area.
This is just a fan site, right? I was going to IM you kudos, but I always like anyone surfing around here to check out the outside world once and a while. :wink:
Welcome to A2K!
Wow is right, thanks for the tip Sugar. Cool site Nny!
Elder Scrolls Series
Okay people... Arena was used to set the scene for Elder scrolls.
Dagger fall was the first released game But second in the time line. Battlespire Was the prequil to Daggerfall, it was first on the time line of the elder scroll saga. Redgaurd was a branch off of the saga not really expanding the game in any way. And Morrowind is the third on the time line and ... well I don't need to explain that game to you guys because I can bet you have played it :-p. And yes I have played every one =p And of them all... daggerfall is the most entertaining, Battlespire is the funniest, and Morrowind is ... ... well... the best over all because well.. Its Morrowind =p
... and saddly... the descriptions ... for the games... ... ... are like... semi true ... semi not ... X.x
Thanks G. And, welcome to a2k.

Dear NNY,
your comment on Morrowwind has been very useful and good.
I played it now for some days and it's my first role playin game.
Played Thief 1, 2 and 3, 3 is **** cuz no rope arrows anymore, only climbing gloves which dont give you that 3D-Room-exploring-feeling like in Thief 1 and 2.
The new NVIDIA-Driver 80.40 is **** for movies to watch, too, cuz no contrast, a whole new brightness/contrast-handling which is ****.
I got AGP 8X, although it's written in the NVIDIA Panel i got oly AGP 4X,
dunno bout that. Got A 6800 GT, 512 MB RAM, 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 on a Fujitsu-Siemens Scaleo 800S, as said no PCI-Express, will buy a new PC soon. But I got a good machine and still, in big fan missions, Thief 2 is very slowly running, altzough i only play it in 800x600, maybe 1024x768 is even faster cuz of compatibility, i dont think so.
i run Win XP Home German, Win03 Server is nt supported by the particular vendor and second-manufacturer of my NVIDIA-Card.
and have all services deactivated but the four u need tu run Win and the 3 for Internet and the ones for the Antivirus Software, the installer and that's it, but a fine new pc should run smoothly even with most of the services as by standard activated either manually or automatically.
i installed the fujitsu-Siemens-IDE-Driver Update (called Mini-IDE-UDMA),
and the first new 80.40 NVIDIA-driver, maybe the old drivers are better suitable for my BIOS, or maybe i flash the BIOS which i havent done yet.
Rebooting is always **** cuz of waiting queues in download programs.
While playing, i always have one of such a program running, which does
quite take away the reactiveness of the pc. well, my sorrows.
as for morrowwind: i still dunno WHAT Part of ELDER SCROLLS im playing!
Can u give me hint? A Resumee maybe of:
Elder Scrolls 1 = ? Short Description of the Game: ...
Elder Scrolls 2 = ? Short Description of the Game: ...
...
...
Addons: - for 1: -
-
- for 2: -
-
...
and so on until number 4. which hasnt been released yet.
THX
small update of my message:
i know now, uaa! im playing elder scrolls II.
well, still that resumee would be fine, thx 'gain.
New Ork - I can't help you, I still pop in morrowind (E.S.III) now and again to terrorize the landscape - I'm fully done with the quests). But, I'm interested in more info along the lines of your query.

Elder scrolls
hey the firs two are really old and thats why you cant find them.they were an old computor game maybe even a super nintendo game
@NNY,
The first two are PC games and are now taken off of the shelves, meaning they are not being sold anymore... But if you know of someone who had an installation disk you download it and play one of them. º¬º
@Bmxkiller47,
dont be shy, buy world of warcraft or warhammer.
DAMN, i wish sony online entertainment didnt utterly destroy star wars galaxies, the most dynamic MMORPG of all time.
@OGIONIK,
morrowind was very excellent by the way, i think i completed every quest, and i had a full set of glass armor and some ebony swords or someshit.
i had them all in that city that had catwalks and was raised off the ground over the water, in the vault LOLz i stole the game, but i coudlnt buy it anyway so does it really matter?
@NNY,
the second is daggerfall but idk what the first is...
