Dang El Stinko!

Bootsie doesn't like it much. She bucks and jumps and bolts inside. Like the zebras at the zoo on a cold day.

Does she have a coat?

She has a little sweat jacket (she's a boxer, ya know). I don't take her on long walks when it gets like this. I bring her to my sister's house where she can run at full tilt and come right back inside to warm up. A few rounds of that and she's pooped.

I have visions of her in her little sweat shirt. Awwww.

It's pretty cute.

... WIND CHILL WARNING THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY FOR ALL OF INTERIOR MASSACHUSETTS...

AN OUTBREAK OF BITTER COLD WILL FOLLOW A LIGHT SNOW FALL OVERNIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING. SNOWFALL OF 1 TO PERHAPS 3 INCHES WILL OCCUR LATE TONIGHT INTO THURSDAY.

THEN DURING THURSDAY NIGHT... TEMPERATURES WILL PLUMMET BELOW ZERO AS NORTHWEST WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH DEVELOP. THIS WILL SEND WIND CHILL VALUES INTO THE VERY DANGEROUS RANGE OF MINUS 30 TO MINUS 40 DEGREES BELOW ZERO.

THIS IS A SERIOUS OUTBREAK OF BITTER COLD. THIS TYPE OF SEVERE COLD IS QUITE DANGEROUS TO THOSE WHO WILL BE OUTSIDE... EVEN IF FOR JUST A FEW MINUTES WAITING FOR THE BUS FOR EXAMPLE. FROSTBITE CAN DEVELOP IN JUST 30 MINUTES AT WIND CHILLS OF JUST MINUS 20 BELOW. DRESS IN MANY LAYERS AND ALWAYS WEAR A HAT TO COVER THE HEAD...
