oh, man, it's beautiful here. they've filled up the fountain outside my building and people have been jumping in. (after all the crap they fished out of the bottom while it was empty, i'd do no such thing.)

48 F, and raining so heavily that neither dog wants to go outside. Did we somehow miss spring and summer here, and go directly to autumn?

The security guard at our office arrived in Canada from Germany last year. As I left tonight, we exchanged a few words in German about the weather and then he said, "what kind of country is this?". Klaus isn't any more impressed with the weather than the rest of us.

It turned out to be a very pleasant day, today. It was in the low eighties with light breeze. Perfect! c.i.

Looks threatening again today, after a night o' rain.

My parents report it was pouring on Long Island yesterday.

I sometimes wonder if the Pacific ocean is down a few million quarts, and it's all being distributed over the North and Northeastern parts of North America.

At least it's not raining fish. Yet.

Dunno why I was up so early. Not like there was sun in my eyes to wake me. Argh, it's freezing, and tomorrow it's supposed to be nearly 80 so I will soon be discarding my calendar and instead stapling tarot cards to a rotating dart board, and will decide the season by careful application of dart to card.

Note: there may be some drinking involved.

I think the appearance of sunlight in Seattle causes the spontaneous creation of traffic.
