They promised/threatened rain for this weekend. Luckily, it held off enough so that we could have two great adventures at the beach with the dogs.

Thanks to piffka, there are more and more picnics Very Happy

Today was A day- apples and other fruit starting with A. After smelling, tasting and writing the new letter they were asked to paint apples. I got of course green ones, yellow and red, some mixed and a big blue one.
"Why blue?" " It tastes like blue- fresh. "
I love these creative kids.

WOW! He ought to submit that to someplace. Surely a prize winner. Do enlarge it and frame it. I think it is wonderful and wish you were around so that I could have a large copy of it, but I am sure that it would not ship well.

I'm so glad that your new school year is off to such a gratifying and interesting start. I envy you. You are indeed fortunate.

I have had little time to look up territorial trees today. We are back from the doctor - Patti had her second cataract operation and I am attending her.

I did find one - it's a Chinese tree originally and is referred to as the 'Tree from Heaven" by some - and, the 'Tree from Hell' by many more people than think of it as being associated with Heaven.

I'll try to start the new thread tomorrow.
