Yes I'm childish and I watch LazyTown.
Does anyone else? If not I would if I were you and if you do or have, what do you think? ^_^
It freaks me out!!
I don't like my kid (age 5) watching it. It's supposedly all of these good messages about healthiness and exercise etc., but what actually happens is she watches it and then says, "I want taffy." They model bad behavior before going ahead and showing good behavior, but the bad behavior is still modeled.
Plus even the "good behavior" stuff is so preachy and treacly and bleh.
And those botoxed puppets freak me out, too.
And that chirpy pink girl.
I've tried to get into it as an ironic postmodern somethingorother but it just freaks me out.
There is something freaky about that show, isn't there?
I can't stand it either - it is annoying at best and disturbing at worst. My children used to watch it, but now during the summer they prefer to go outside - thank goodness.
Yeah, that's the central paradox of the show -- "Watch this TV show that tells you should be playing outside!" They make it all about video games instead of watching TV (video games = bad, outside = good) but it's still dumb.
I like the show, it's one of the few "kids" shows that I can stand to listen to, or even watch occasionally.
I know it's creepy but thats why I watch it. Though it is a bit ironic that a TV show is advertising exercise when, when kids watch it they want to watch every episode. But it's weird and creepy and thats why I like it!
Yes... I'm strange and many people on here would agree.
I = Strange and proud.

You've joined a forum of rugged individualists. Why would we find you strange?
Eeps. Just checked it out and watched some on YouTube. Morbid curiousity.
It's made for crack babies. This is my conclusion. Much like that show "Out of the Box" that plagued my nightmares.
I can still hear the song and see those fake, overacting crackheads running around.
Creepy, and yet fascinating.
So long, farewell, to you my frie-ends
goodbye for now
until we meet again
Sozlet actually covered her ears and told me to turn off the TV with that one...
