Price increase for gasoline, that is. Two weeks ago it was as low as $2.62/gallon here, now it is $3.09.

What a load of crap.

I can't believe you're complaining... there's a war on and being punished by gas prices is a small price to pay to secure the freedom of and bring democracy to the Middle East.

why do you hate America, Saddam's Poodle?

I'm trying to figure out how to run my car on negative emotions. That way, every time I drive past a gas station, I get a full tank.

Yeah, destroying the environment used to be cheap, now we actually have to pay something for the privilege.

My chant is: $5 a gallon! $5 a gallon!- so we will stop buying SUV's and think about turning off a light when we leave a room.

I disagree. What is the price of gasoline in China? Indonesia? The middle east?

You live in a socialist quagmire with huge taxes on gasoline. Why do you think it is so expensive?

People in China and Indonesia are living in a lot lower living standards. They're cheaper countries all round. It's cheap in the Middle East because...............gasp.........shock..........THEY OWN MOST OF THE OIL!

We live under the most conservative government in the history of this country. A worthless little slug called John Howard who takes his orders from the worthless little slug called George Bush.

Am I the only person who see's the delicious irony of a Bush loving conservative complaining about the price of fuel????

I run a landscaping business and I go many places. One of our trucks was just converted to run on biodiesel, which we make ourselves. Mostly we pass our fuel costs onto our customers who love to run their air conditioners and even their big screen TV's when no one is home.

I worked for man who bought a Hummer two years ago, he recently sold it at a loss and bought a Toyota hybrid - that is why I have no problem with higher gas prices, it makes people make better choices.
I'm sorry some people have to chose between food and fuel, but as a society we made bad decisions concerning our energy policies and we are all now literally paying for it.

Yes Wilso, I do see the irony. If you look back at US energy policy it was created by the Reagan adminstration who successfully wiped out the Carter administrations attempt to get us off the oil tit. Reagan said what conservatives love to hear "don't worry no one is going to take away your right to be a pig in this world, others will suffer but not you" (paraphrased by me). Cheney said the same thing a few years back and 50.1% of Americans followed him to the slaughter house.

If you want to have an eye opening experience go see the movie:
Who Killed The Electric Car.

Peace cjsha - we just can't see the world with the same eyes.
