Hello ,everyone!!!
Could you help me explain the sentence "Sometimes the little poisons are as everyday as being persuaded into a dodgy new look by a so-called female friend" ?
Thanks !!!

"Sometimes the little poisons are as everyday as being persuaded into a dodgy new look by a so-called female friend."
This is a very badly written sentence, because although it does no violence to English grammar, it is written in a manner to make its meaning difficult to understand even for a native-speaker of English. I sure whoever wrote that thought that she or he was being clever.
It means that "the poisons"--which obviously refers to something mentioned in a preceding sentence--can be as common as having someone who claims to be a friend, but who is not, telling you to wear a new style of clothing which may not actually be fashionable, and which may actually make you look silly. I will try to rewrite the sentence so that it is easier for you to understand; wish me luck.
"The 'little poisons' are sometimes as common as being persuaded to wear a questionable new style by a false friend."
