Especially in a sci-fi milieu, SealPoet. The best thing about "The Matrix" is that it begins with solid sci-fi premises and obviously with Neo's powers, Rocky Balboa would be mince meat (not that Sylvester minces :wink: )

I don't know. Slappy's right, Rocky can take a major beating. And, if he gets in a lucky shot there would be the whole "He's bleeding!!! Rocky's cut him!!" momentum change thing to consider.

However, I get the feeling if things got dicey, Neo would just jet out of there anyway. Or make a phone call.

Anyone know why Neo and his troops don't just carry cell phones around? Haven't seen the new one, yet, so maybe it's been answered.

I think it would be close, then after Rocky says "my ring's outside," Neo would be cake.

1) VENUE. Would the fight be inside or outside the Matrix? Or in Brooklyn?

2) EQUIVALENT TRAINING? When Neo downloads his fighting skills, does he retain them in The Real World, or does computer training only apply inside the computer?
If fought Inside, can Rocky download all the same skills while warming up?

On their ship, ... Neo would be hamburger. Hell, just eating Tasty Wheat makes him woozy, while Rocky can drink five raw eggs right down!

In Brooklyn, ... Neo would be pizza. Just pop his sockets and fuse his brain.

Inside the Matrix, ... Rocky would download the ability the speak and get Adrian to whip his ass. Brainy people have the big advantage Inside, and NObody breaks Adrian's glasses!


So I'd have to say Rocky. He's got more to work with.

I think the Q is would the fight be in Zion or in the matrix? In the matrix Neo would win hands down. But, in Zion - not so sure.....
