What is the title of the current British television crime drama series in which the two leading characters share their surnames with an archaic distilling apparatus and an old imperial measure of weight? Clues appreciated.
Clues
A lunar vehicle, a ballpoint, and fourteen pounds as well
The way I did it was to scan BBC and ITV programme character lists and enter the names in Google for a dictionary definition or origin.
Material Girl has found one correct element but has an incorrect combination.
Hi fresco and material girl, I have the weight answer (s) but have read the Radio Times from cover to cover before and after I posted the question, and still can't find anything! I have googled myself silly. I really must be having senior moments, as nothing jumps out at me. I'll keep going though. Many thanks for replying.
OK
You want ITV drama with one character called Stone.
Hi fresco
Sorry! but no go. I have checked the papers and Radio Times ITV, and cannot find anything. Are some programmes off because of the football?

No need to worru uar. It's quite normal for people who read the RT from cover to cover. Most of them can't find their own feet.
Good Morning fresco, thank you very much. I have never seen this drama and would never have found the site, although I thought I had tried everything. Again, thanks for your politeness and patience.
