What kind of food can keep me feel cool in the hot summer?

Dear everyone.The place where is very hot,I drink constantly,but I still feel thirsty ,very hot ,make me whiny,don't want to do anything.Can you have many good way to solve this problem?What can I eat and drink?Thanks.

I would suggest that drinking plenty of fluid is the most important thing.

Fruit is also good, especially watermelon, which seems to stay cold whatever the weather.

Here in the desert south-west we have an old tradtion to stay cool and moistureized. We suck rocks.

Friends of mine from Singapore told me that eating lichee will warm you up when you are cold, and cool you off when you are hot.

I find nothing works better than water. Don't drink it ice cold. Room temp will enable you to hydrate faster.

Morrocans, I hear, drink hot tea on hot days. Can't verify from personal experience, but I suppose the idea is to make you're body warmer than the air around you so you feel cooler.

Personally, when I raise my body temperature on a hot day (exercise, shower, whatever), it just makes matters worse...
