Heeeeeeeeyyyy, cool - Names please!
Great! Thanks ehBeth. Looking forward to the link.
Fiona
i found out what was wrong with the first link - i'd put the photo in a private album. now it's in my new flower album. the link works - and the pic should show.
OK sorry (Fiona and I are working together at the moment- a rare occurrence she says- and we (that is, ehBeth and us) crossed in the mail) So, all becoming clearer.
Names, littlek, as follows:
In dark blue, McTag. Clockwise, Mrs Steve, Steve, Mrs Walter, Fiona, and decorating the foreground, Walter.
This was in a nice restaurant, 'Just James' in St James' St, on Saturday. Escaping from the heat.
McT
Thanks for the photo, Fiona,
and thanks, ehBeth,
for letting us stay between your other flowers
Here's a link to the restaurant:
Just St. James
I will post some pics,
a) when I've got the photos back,
b) when I've re-installed my software.
Well that's the strangest thing. I have just come back in and logged on to see what's going on and the picture that was once in the thread with the text 'test test test' has disappeared and has been replaced by that little red cross in a little box!! What does that mean?
ehBeth your back yard is just sooooo gorgeous. I love the photos of the flowers.
Looking forward now to Walter's masterpieces.
Don't keep us waiting too long Walter!!
Fiona
the little bugger's danced away again, hasn't it. i think the site must have rotating #'s for the pix - the link will 'always' work. I'll try to carry the pic to another site with immovable #'s. (it's good practice for me)
back soon.
Thanks about the pix, Fiona - it's been a very nice lush year - the day lilies in particular are brilliant this year. Brilliant in so many ways!
Nice to see all your happy faces, thanks Beth. (Pretty flowers!) You don't look too wilted -- there must have been air conditioning!
Thanks ehBeth- that's a neat way to post a picture.
We're a bit backward and technophobic in this family, and can't do very clever stuff, not yet anyway, on the website.
And this computer is rather old & rickety.
So thanks for the help & advice.
Looking forward to seeing your pictures, Walter!
WOW. What a fantastic picture of the three couples. They almost outdo ehBeth's flowers. (almost)
Love it! Love it! Love it!
I've posted a couple of photos here:
Another London meeting
(Since we were in a bed of roses on ehBeth's site, I've flanked us with Mrs. Steve's lilies here  )
great pix! i particularly like the 2 generals
Walter a big THANK You for posting the photos. They are great there is only one problem there aren't any of you!!
How should I go about learning how to post photos to websites etc? I am really keen to know and understand the technology. Oh and by the way I am not a technophobe - Mctag likes to think he is but realy he has a better understanding than me. Hey ho I do want to find out more though so any advice gladly received.
Fiona
Ps Having a midlife crisis of identity!!
pps I should have said in the area of my AVATAR! Actually it's in every other area too!!
FionaB wrote:Having a midlife crisis of identity!!
Since I went from my crisis of puberty without break through the midlife crisis into the seniorage-appropriate senility, I'm no real help with this
FionaB wrote:How should I go about learning how to post photos to websites etc?
Well, I could help you re this. However, since I really don't know the appropriate English termini technici, it wouldn't be any good help at all!
There are certainly some computer fuzzies here, who could help
us dummies

Turn around! That's me behind the camera!
WOW - Lovely pictures he says while banging his head against the table, tears of disappointment streaming down his doe like eyes because he could not meet some of the lovliest people in the world.....
Thanks Walter for some great shots. And thanks to ebeth and all for comments
