@Gargamel,
Hello Gargame.
Not much experience with scotch. I've enjoyed it for about five years now. Glenlivet was replaced by Glenfiddich which was replaced by Macallan. Macallan on the rocks. Mm.
This summer a friend handed me a Michael Collins single malt Irish whiskey. I must say that it belongs up there with the best.

@alex240101,
Never tried a single malt irish whiskey.
We used to drink Powers Three Swallows once in a while for sentimental reasons.

Tico, on Chivas, I honestly don't remember it.
Garg, I like Makers Mark too. Sipping bourbon.

Glenlivet for me, 12-year old single malt. You can certainly spend more but why?

I could get a 750ml bottle of this in Cali for about $20. Here in Michiswamp it's $30+ and everyone charges exactly the same price. That is what happens when the government intrudes on capitalism.
