I think this might be fun. I'll join Set & Neo in the libations, and I'll serve up some snacks to go along as we settle in to watch the entertainment mindy apparently is bent on providing. Certainly little or no challenge to higher faculties will be posed through mindy's rhetorically inadept, exceedingly verbose, substance-sparse, logic-defying, pointless, peripatetic perambulations; mebbe we can get an interesting digression going - no point totally wasting the bandwidth.

I'm afraid any book with talking snakes is going to make a dud Eddie Murphy movie but I'll pull up a chair with Edgar and sat a spell.

Well if something doesn't happen soon (for example: Edgar giving me one of those Lone Stars) I'm going back to work.

No thanks, always have my own on my wrist.

(OK I had to look up what a koozie was - in Oz we call them stubby holders. In Darwin NT many guys do wear their velcro koozies on their wrists - for emergencies, I guess)

Good Day

Thank you all for continuosly demonstrating why God's message is not for hillbillies.

Peace

Why isn't god's message for hillbillies? In which book/chapter/verse does it say that? Leviticus?

Actually, now that I think about it I think Mindy is mistaken - remember the sermon on the mount?

"Blessed are the hillbillies for they shall inherit the mirth"

Even in Genesis 'And on the eighth day Yahweh created the hillbillies, and it was good'

Anyone else remember any specific hillbilly mentions from bible class?
