What does the upside down star(pentagram) mean to you?

Don't you have a half naked jew on a stick to be grovelling to?

Ahhhh...now, that's more in character with the true nature of anyone who "worships" the lord of demons.

Only thing is, you'll have more of a problem pigeonholing me as a Christian or anything else - most major religions believe in the existence of an evil one, not just Christianity. I've never espoused to be a Christian, but you've certainly publicly kissed the butt of the hyena god.

Yeah, I know- I know, your belief system is very complicated and sophisticated... Satanists are just maximizing their individual potential...
It's just a harmless self help philosophy...
Detractors just don't understand anything about Satan, that's what the problem is....

If they'd only listen to the experts like you, they'd see how healthy and empowering satanism is....

Lies and damn lies from the father of all lies.
Satan has never been anything but a destroyer and a liar. And those who call themselves adherents to satanism all deny that.

Let me ask you this, oh wizened Satanist - does evil exist? Is Satan evil?

Good is what you like, evil is what you don't like.

PS - Satanism is anything but a 'self help' philosophy. You were doing better with devil worship...
Which isn't good at all.

Getting back to Dok's quote.
Doktor S wrote:
It holds a deep symbolic meaning to me. It represents personal power, growth, intellect, independence, and freedom. It represents being mastered by none but the self.
I have it inked on my body to remind me of what and who I am...
How can you have independence and freedom without free will?

Does seem a bit of a juxtaposition doesn't it?
I make a distinction between perception and hard reality.
Freedom, will, and independence all 'seem' to exist, so it is only pragmatic to work with that. Regardless of the hard mechanics...which is what I have been arguing here.

Good is what you like, evil is what you don't like.

It's all relative. so, there's nothing absolutely evil?

A meaningless question firstly and formostly unless you can define that by which nothing can go beyond.

A meaningless question secondarily unless you can define the term evil in such a fashion as to confirm with certainly that there is no good contained within.

Your simplistic polarized idealizations have no basis in fact unless or until you prove otherwise.

In my opinion, there is well defined evil in this world.

The White House is at the apex of the inverted pentagram. Washington DC seemed to be be designed by Masons.

it is a satanic symbol, i think used in 'black masses'. as a catholic i find the pentagram disgusting and refuse to have anything in my house bearing that symbol. although i have seen them and read about it because "better the devil you know" and all that. by the way, is the pentacle different from the pentagram. the pentacle being the five pointed star but the other way up than the pentagram. i think it is a pagan symbol for the 5 elements (yes five): earth, air, fire, water and spirit.
