But maybe you meant one of these jokers. If he came at you out of a dark alley, axe in hand--yeah, that would be a pants poopin' moment . . .

I had this experience in Providence RI about three years ago. Standing on a side walk was a young girl, about age three, dressed in a pink shift, white hose and pink shoes, an outfit that most probably came from Sears. She was looking up at a 20 something mother who was 'laying down the law". The mother was dressed completely in Goth. It is a style and a statement, and nothing more.

For whatever you allege that you "simply asked," you entitled your thread "If your [sic] goth your [sic] a satanist???" People have been responding to that, and largely, not taking you very seriously.

If you ask a different question to the one you meant to, then dont blame us for asking it.

Ever read the da vinci code?

a pentegram origionated as a feminine symbol, and is used in wicca and witchcraft quite a lot as a representation of the sacred feminine.
It is hollywood who made it into a 'devil symbol'
They turned it upside-down and put a circle round it, or so i believe.

Your only a satanist if you worship the devil. wearing the pentagram has little to do with it.
wearing a cross doesnt necesarilly make you a christian does it?
It may however create an impression.

Incorrect.
The pentagram originated around 3500 bc in ancient mesopotamia.
It was used by rulers as a symbol indicating that their power breadth the four corners of the known world.

Incorrect. The church of Satan had been using the baphomet long before hollywood..err..hollywoodized it.

Incorrect. The inverted pentagram was coined, as representing the opposite path to the white light path, ie the carnal path, in the 19th century by Eliphas Lévi

Heh. Incorrect! Satanists worship only themselves, and don't believe in a literal devil or any other spiritual boogymen for that matter.

This has been your daily misinformation buster, have a nice day.

Ok, well obviously i should check my facts out further, instead of believeing a fiction novel.
I do apologise Embarrassed

I would like to say that the pentagram is a symbol of the sacred feminine in wicca though. It is possible that it has more that 1 meaning.

Yes, Miss Pent. You are correct, wicca did adopt the pentagram as it's banner in the 50s, when a brit named gardner invented it.
