Not yet. Significant Other wasn't well and this had to take a back seat. Today, though, I hope.

I must be honest - I had to get a friend to help me actually insert the card; we both (without consulting each other) remarked that the card appeared to be ever so slightly curved. That would explain why I couldn't get it aligned. He is much larger and stronger and heavier than I, and managed to get the card in place.
But I followed everyone's instructions, and it was only the necessary physical strength that was lacking, so I really feel very clever, as well as very grateful.
And now I've had to open my computer twice, I'm not afraid I'll bust something just by looking at its innards. That is a real bonus.
