The cool thing about watching reruns of Miami Vice is that you can tell if it will be worth watching just by the hairstyles. First, we have Crockett and Tubbs both with short hair....those early episodes are the best. Then it was Crockett with somewhat longish hair, and Tubbs still with short hair, and clean shaven, when the show got darker. Then the worst, long-haired Crockett, and Tubbs with the beard and 'stache. Any other shows out there like that that you can recall?
Bewitched and the revolving Derwoods?
Roseanne and plastic surgery.
Jerry Orbach- running slower and slower on Law and Order, as the years go by!
Elaine's haircut on Seinfeld.
The degree of Jason Alexander's Woody Allen impersonation. (Early on, pure W.A. impersonation. Later, grew into the character.)
"Friends," with this caveat: though it is easy to date according to style, weight, and wrinkleage of characters, it will never fail to irritate.
Friends eh...Matthew Perry's ballooning weight through the seasons...and here is another 'Friends' lesson: Black people obviously don't live in NYC
ER:
The Docs are getter fatter and fatter!
PC language: The Docs are getting heavier and heavier.
More PC language: The Docs are getting more "gravity challenged", lol
"Frasier" reruns. The longer his hair, the earlier, and the funnier, the episode.
