Another day of improvement. She drank some water and carried on brief conversations. Her color was better and she was using facial expressions. Today she noticed the flowers in the room and was able to read some of the cards. They may have started her on soft foods today, but we didn't see that. As soon as room is available, she'll be moved out of ICU for further treatment. Really dramatic improvements in the week. When she was in Emergency I think the odds of survival were against her, but in six day's its clear she will eventually recover most, if not all her functions prior to the Meningitis.
