I know for a fact they have, boomer.
No doubt about it.
More prayers, thoughts & good wishes for Natalie's recovery....
Continued good thoughts and wishes coming from IL.
I just saw this thread, glad to hear the crises is part and best wished for a full recovery.
Sending more thoughts and well wishes...
Asherman, you've done good by me, and i've only known you through this forum. We rarely realize how much our small deeds impact others, so I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how much your time to help me in regards to Buddhism meant. Thank You.
And I'm sure your Natalie has spread an enormous good.
take care...
Just saw this and am very glad to hear the news is getting better daily. I wish you and the Mrs. the very best of luck.
You too, Anon.
Sending some more good wishes to your wife and family.
Me too. Hope all turns out well Asherman.
This has been a weird situation, as Anon has been going through the same horrendous time as Ash --- and by virtue of not opening his own thread at the same time he was posting here to express interest in Ash's + Natalie's situation, Anon has seemed to be a semi-interloper, perhaps even an attention getter, as we all sometimes try to be.
JayBea, Anon's wife, died today. There's a thread about that.
Asherman
My very best wishes for continued improvement in your wife's health.
I am terribly sad about the news of Anon's wife.
Asherman's wife crittically ill
Thankful to hear your good news, and you are both still in my prayers.
My thoughts are with you both, Asherman.
Hold your dominion.
Asherman, I'm so glad to hear your good news! My best wishes to your wife for a quick recovery!
Today Natalie showed marked improvement. She opened her eyes and clearly recognized where she was. The life support system was removed and she's now breathing on her own. Shannon has been playing her sort of music on a CD all day, and a more attentive son couldn't be found I'm sure. Shannon will postpone his flight 24 hours to see her through this stage of recovery. BTW, Shannon made the Army's promotional list, but won't get the actual promotion until next summer.
She is, of course, very dehydrated and hasn't spoken yet. We're told she'll remain in ICU (Rm 008) at least one more day, perhaps longer, before being transfered to the Ruth Hanna Building. When Natalie was recovering from surgery last year, she spent over a month in Ruth Hanna so she knows the staff there already.
I'm back at the house to take my medication, and then will return to the hospital for a couple more hours. I'm sure Natalie will appreciate all the kind comments when she finally gets home again.
Ash
Wonderful, Ash. I rejoice in your relief and Natalie's progress.
I knew she would be all right, Ash.
I'm glad to hear that Natalie is doing so much better, Ash.
Hi Asherman,
I know we have not chatted much but I have always appreciated your posts and wish for you and yours only the very best. I do sympathize.
That is fantastic news. So glad to hear. I'm glad your son is able to be there with her.
