I'd like to see an Edmonton - Carolina final this time around, with the Oilers winning the Cup.
Well cliche, you got it. Anybody watch tonight's fantastic game? There was so much drama...man what an overtime goal. The first short handed overtime goal in NHL history.
I meant in Stanley Cup history , of course
I love the calm determination McTavish brings to Edmonton...it's mind boggling what a great team Gretsky led.
It doesn't get any better...Game 7...Carolina's at home...but Edmonton has the momentum...any predictions?
Well, when it gets to the 7th game and both teams are this good, although they've both had some up & down games, it's really hard to call.
But I'll pick Edmonton because:
1. They have the momentum.
2. The coaching staff.
3. Western teams are more accustomed to time zone changes.
I think much of Carolina's chance rides on Brind'Amour -- wasn't very noticeable last night. Does he have the legs, can he spark the team?
Go Oilers Go!!!!!
One more game 'til Stanley comes home. This city is in a frenzy and tomorrow will the whole city will erupt. Yeah Edmonton!
Go Hurricanes...we want to keep the Cup in the Yankee South
Only a few more hours to go and then, well I guess fate will decide.
Even if the Canes win, there are 6 guys on the team from Edmonton and area. I guess even the Yankee south  needs a little help from the northern mecca of hockey,eh!
... uh, can I change my prediction?
Depression is now setting in.
The Canes did it. Congrats!
Congrats to the Hurricanes...regrets to the Oilers
And the Cup returns to Dixie
