S/he was gone. For some reason, not knowing where it went has me totally freaked out. Every hair on my body was trying to stand straight up. I poked around the web to see if it'd come out, no show.

Re: Name our new pet
Thats a wolf spider I think. theyre quick but pale into insignificance beside a huntsman for size.

folks I am fairly sure this a female. I can just tell by the way she looks at me . I have seen that look many times. Kind of addoringly predatory.

A wise reaction to a wolf spider k. they jump out at their selected prey. I really wouldnt poke around too much.

Shocked

WHAT? Why?!

What if that just happens to be someone's real name, someone who definitely does not want spiders named after her??

Of course, Stray! Us cats gotta stick together...by the way, did you see nimh's evil thread earlier about cruelty to kitties (or kitty dignity, anyway) ?

Here we are:

I warn you, it's shocking.

Excuse me for interupting, but I'm still all creepy-crawly. What can I do ....? I have to go to sleep, but I'm too jumpy.

Eeeew, I know the feeling.

I saw a huuuuge spider on my bedroom drapes one night, and it disappeared behind the curtains before I could do anything about it. The drapes in my bedroom touch the side of the bed because there isn't enough room to move the bed away from the window. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it, and then I was all itchy and crawly-feeling all night...blech!

It took me forever to fall asleep...I don't think there's anything to do about that icky spidery feeling! Sad
