Heph, a metaphor is like this..." my love is like a flower" (meaning that the woman I love is as beautiful as a flower, who is being compared to a flower). That is one example of a metaphor.

There may be absolute truths (IE axioms..eg:if a=b and b=c then a=c), but no 'absolute truth'
And honestly, being that logic itself is a human linguistic construct, I would even doubt the axiomatics claim to the title 'absolute'
