Okay ... I've got my Jayhawk gear on ... let's do this.
Checking in, UCLA just lost to the better team, I didn't watch, but will check various blogs including Kareem's later. Still, I'm glad they got to the four.
So, now I'll go back and read this thread..
Ah, a tad of an antique thread, I like those. Even I recognize the name Steve Alford, but not why.
I don't care yet who wins this other game, but I might work up concern when I check it out.. probably like both teams. Meantime, my allegiance, flighty though it be, moves to Memphis..
Okay ... halftime ... Hawks by 17 ... I'll take it.
Whew!
I admit it - they got schooled.
What a great game. Rock chalk!
Monday night should be a shootout.
Of course you don't.
Um, look what up?
I can't think of anything to look up about right now... Props to the Jayhawks.
Waving wheat and Phogg chants to all...
At least the Dook fans are quiet...
Comes with the education, prolly...
Like who won...
not all of us face tvs...
but, ok, I get it already.
Kansas. A good friend in high school really pushed that I'd go with her to what, St. Scholastica? a catholic college, anyway, that was her mother's alma mater. I was busy wanting to go to St. Louis U or Marquette. Eh, those were the days. At least where I ended up had a better team (delicate snort).
Going to college isn't natural goodliness. But given that I got to go there, being the right age before the Reagan years and state tuition, I get a kick out of my extremely local team.
2008 NCAA Champion is determined tonight.
Go 'Hawks!!!
All right, I'll say that too. Go, Hawks! (that's plural)
So, How did Villanova do?
