Just felt the need to say that. Have a nice day.
Oh, I agree.
I mean I disagree. Violently.
Or something.

This isn't true. She and Obama will both be in Wisconsin... at the same event (Founders Dinner?). I was invited to join a group, but the proceeds will go to the Democratic Party, so I won't be attending. I may just catch Obama in Mad Town tomorrow, though. My nephew wants to go pretty bad. (Yes Soz, that one )
According to the gamblers at Intrade: Obama owns her now at 70% to 30%. Interestingly; the poll that moves when people put their money where their mouth is now shows McCain with a better chance of becoming the next President than Hillary even winning her Party's nomination. I hope they're right, because that looks like a PERFECT General Election line up to me!

Lol, I read that - quite conveniently - after I had stopped making calls for the evening. Hillary might want to publicize this a bit more, as most people didn't know about her coming. Knew about Barack and his wife being there tho.
What's your call, Bill? Will Obama win it in WI?

Only joking.
That's a fair criticism - no need to call it a joke. The truth is I am testy about criticism on some issues, particularly from Europeans (you will of course rise up and say ... "No, not you George" ). I even had a few wiffs of regret over my last, unkind reference to Northern Ireland. Those years at the knees of my immigrant parents, and the meetings & football with the Gaelic League did have their lasting effects.
You are a good guy with no mean-spiritness in him. I apologize for mine.
Well that's a very handsome statement, George.
I think I love you even more, now.
From a blog by Harold Pollack:
I don't know how to raise this unpleasant matter except to say it straight: The greatest single risk that Republicans will retain the White House is that Senator Clinton will win the nomination, only to be brought down by some financial embarrassment involving herself or her husband.
I don't write this out of spite. I will certainly vote for her if she is the nominee. Almost every Democrat I know, even those of us who now oppose her, greatly respect Senator Clinton's intellect and experience.
I support most of her policy proposals, which are often similar to those advanced by Senator Obama. I admire the Clinton Foundation's AIDS work. Many in the public health world believe--I certainly do--that Bill Clinton has done more to fight AIDS as an ex-president than he was able to accomplish in his term of office.
Everyone also knows that the Clintons have made a lot of money over the same period, and that their complicated financial life is their key vulnerability. They have raised $165 million for the Clinton Library, additional monies for the Foundation, for their legal defense, and now for the campaign.
Republican operatives are scrutinizing every speech President Clinton has given, every trip he has taken, every donation his library and his foundation have received. Of course, the same need for transparency applies to Senator Obama, about Mr. Rezko or whatever else might be pertinent.
If anything embarrassing is there, we need to vet it now. Senator Clinton, we've got to see those tax returns, those donor lists, and whatever else could spell trouble. This election is just too important to lose over some contribution or personal financial matter.

Little doubt in my mind. We've been debating by how much. I'd place the over/under at 67%, myself.
Intrade is now showing Hillary pays 20 to 1 in MD and 50 to 1 in VA.

Meanwhile she's still trailing Obama in Texas 42%-60% AND Ohio 38%-60%. (S)he who doubts it can do better than doubling their money right now if they're right... though I suspect those odds will be even longer, later (tonight).
Clinton superdelegates could back Obama

Remember when FOX News broke the story that Obama went to a Madrassa?
And CNN debunked the story saying that he just went to a muslim school as well as a catholic school?
Well, just a little research reveals that there are basicly two kinds of muslim education. Koranic school and Madrassa's. Been that way for thousands of years.
In the article linked below it points out that koranic schools are informal and basicly just teaching the koran (can be under a tree or in the kitchen etc.). Madrassa's on the other hand, are the only formal muslim schools.
So, if Obama went to a muslim school.... he went to a madrassa. The debunking was all just semantics. And the MSM just sat idly by and let it be debunked.

Probably true for both of us.

And if you went to a better school that the one you went to, you might be smarter now, and less insular.
But I doubt it.
I didn't address what he SAYS. I addressed what school he attended as a child.
Just seems pretty strange to me that while we are fighting muslims around the world, we try to elect one to the highest office in the land.
I think the country has lost its mind.

Excuse me butthead, but I went to a GREAT school. And you know what, I learned something. That I don't like and don't trust LIBERALS.

He's not a muslim! You are merely trolling this thread, b/c you know he isn't a muslim.
jeez, this is pathetic even for you, Cj

What part of BARACK OBAMA doesn't sound muslim to you?
I just Googled "Soldiers for Obama" thinking there might actually be a website dedicated to such a thing.
Nope.
cjhsa wrote:What part of BARACK OBAMA doesn't sound muslim to you?
Sometimes you say the dumbest f*cking things.
cjhsa, it's even worse than you think. Obama will call for a Muslim Summit if elected. To seek help in the "war on terrorism" and to listen to concerns in the Muslim world. The best idea I've heard from any candidate so far.
