@hawkeye10,
It's worse that just lacking respect hawk.

It's completely stupid.

It begs the obvious questions about what is "taste" and what is "adult". So much so that it cannot be differentiated psychologically from gazing in rapture into a mirror under subdued, pale pink, lighting conditions.

And complete stupidity is both tasteless and infantile.

Who is this guy ... Kagan

Yes, "who is this" Obama pick for the Supreme Court?
What is her judicial experience? Does she understand that the Constitution of the USA is "the supreme law of the land." Does she understand that the only lawful way to amend the Constitution of the USA is as specified in Article V of the Constitution of the USA?

If she does not understand that and will not learn to understand that, then she will become an Odem (i.e., Obamademocrat).

If she becomes an Odem, then she will be a lying thieving gangster working to reduce our Liberty, our Constitutional Government, and our Capitalist Economy.

We shall lawfully remove the Odem from our federal government.

ACLJ Calls on Senate Judiciary Committee to Closely Examine Elena Kagan's Judicial Philosophy as Supreme Court Nominee

May 10, 2010
(Washington, DC) The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), focusing on constitutional law, today called on the Senate Judiciary Committee to fully examine the judicial philosophy of Solicitor General Elena Kagan, President Obama’s nominee to the Supreme Court.

This is the beginning of an important, deliberative process in which the American people deserve to know where Elena Kagan stands on the Constitution and the rule of law, said Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel of the ACLJ. The fact that Elena Kagan has no previous judicial experience underscores the importance of closely examining her judicial philosophy - will she abide by the Constitution, or will she take an activist view? With the Senate’s constitutional role of providing advice and consent regarding nominees, we call on the Senate Judiciary Committee to provide full and thorough hearings and ask the tough questions about how Kagan views the role of Justices, the Constitution, and the rule of law. While no nominee should express legal opinions concerning specific issues, the American people deserve to know whether this nominee who could serve for many decades embraces the philosophy of judicial activism.

Led by Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow, the American Center for Law and Justice focuses on constitutional law and is based in Washington, D.C.

If he were interested in doing that, he'd have everyone reading your posts. I seriously feel myself getting dumber with each one.

Here's what you want to say in reply to that: "You couldn't get any dumber blah blah blah blah." You'd then laugh and fart at the same time. Then go back to bed with a faded, crusty, thirty year-old Cheryl Tiegs poster reinforced with cardboard.

@Gargamel,
I love how these guys . . . spendius, H2O man, and a few others criticize and call names if a mirror is held up to them but they think it is perfectly fine to describe Ms. Kagan as a "woman."

Double standard

I dont consider getting all personally dismissive when people disagree a demonstration of honesty, I consider it demonstration of being a Prick/Bitch depending on the gender of the offensive one. The line between heated debate and offensive for me as near the point at which one person assumes that the other is lacking in character, not having evidence to support the allegation.

Obama criticizes generation iPad

US president Barack Obama has criticized the iPad and Xbox 360 for transforming relevant information into a "diversion" and putting "new pressures" on democracy.

"With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, - none of which I know how to work - information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation," Obama claimed in a speech at Hampton University quoted by AFP

This must be an effort to increase Americas dumbmasses.

But I thought Obama made a big deal out of his Blackberry and he didn't want to give it up? And maybe he didn't? Isn't that one of those types of gizmos he is now criticizing?

Isn't Obama a piece of work!!!!!!

Because lord knows that, whereas you use your iPad and other electronic devices to keep track of the 30-odd meetings you have each day and memos of national import, the President of the United States would only need a Blackberry to play minesweeper and clutter a public internet forum with his idiotic posts.

This is a level of hypocrisy not seen since Bush batted around the word "evildoers" while lying to his people to facilliate the death of countless Iraqi civilians. Except that, well, Obama didn't murder people in an illegal war, but still, he USES A ******* BLACKBERRY! What a commie!
