There are dozens, but many involve the lack of character to denounce wrong and stand up for right. He has denounced and apologized for the United States of America

Obama has never denounced America. Not once. And you will be unable to provide any evidence that he has.

He has apologized for errors we've made, and there's nothing wrong with that at all. That's what a strong person does. His apologies weaken us in no way and strengthen our position internationally.
Quote:

, capitalism, and us

Are you ******* kidding? Obama has repeatedly praised the capitalist system and he did everything necessary to PRESERVE that system when the financial crisis hit. They easily could have refused to pay out the AIG CDO obligations and just seized the banks as they all failed - which is what I recommended at the time - but they didn't. His actions don't match what you say, at all.

Quote:
but at the same time he has no spine to denounce forcefully the hatreds of a friend of his, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the source of hatred for whites, Jews, and capitalists. Obama also displays a warmth for dictators like Chavez and Castro, in my opinion. This tells me alot, as it should tell everyone but some people like yourself lack the spine to face the reality of it.

There's no reason to denounce Wright at all. And this so-called 'warmth' that you talk about is a joke; what actions lead you to believe that he displays warmth towards them?

This opinion of yours also paints you as a serious hypocrite. Take Bush's relationship with Saudi Arabia, for example; that country is basically a dictatorship, it's the home of Bin Laden and the most radical Muslims on the planet, they expelled all US troops from there after 9/11, you can be killed there for being Christian with basically no repercussions, and Bush is best friends with them. Where were your denunciations of this? Where are they now?

In short: I call bullshit on everything you listed here. Your rhetoric doesn't match Obama's actions at all and is extremely one-sided. Not that this is anything new.

'Lack the spine,' snort. What a joke coming from you. I've never failed to respond to any of your so-called 'challenges' on this or any other issue.

Apologies from the both of you (I assume H2O shares your view that this was more than a little juvenile even if he wont say so) are owed to the rest of us.
I hope that we all can pause for a minute or so between composing a post and hitting "reply." Failure to do so can result in the poster quickly becoming regarded as more than a fool.

You just did what Cycloptichorn said you'd do: unable to come up with a concrete example of an action taken by Obama which has actively harmed America's security, you fall back on nebulous character assassination.

You don't even bother to look at what Obama is doing and instead blindly follow the leadership of your movement - which, at this point in time mainly consists of Palin, Beck and Limbaugh. Even if Obama follows in the footsteps of Reagan an Bush I and implements the exact same measures that you would have praised in a Republican President, what he is doing must be wrong, because he simply cannot be trusted.

@parados,
The Obamademocrats have greatly magnified Bush's spending errors. That is the real problem!

Obamademocrats are greedy for power over their fellow human beings. Attaining that power is their END. They will continue to utilize whatever MEANS serves their ends. They will not be be concerned with whether or not their means and processes for achieving their ends adhere to the rules of law, or of ethics, or of morality. For them, their ends suffice to justify their means.

A recent analysis by Roger Simon of PJTV Media maintains that Obama is showing signs of mental illness. A wide variety of commentators have observed that Obama displays severe narcissism. Obama is conceited, and he is demonstrating a serious disassociation from reality.

A recent case in point was Obama's bizarre and meandering 17-minute, 2,500-word answer to the simple question about how he could justify raising taxes for ObamaCare during a recession when citizens are already overtaxed. Obama's wildly inappropriate answer left the audience stunned and led commentator Charles Krauthammer to mockingly say, "I don't know why you are so surprised. It's only nine times the length of the Gettysburg address, and after all Lincoln was answering an easier question, the higher purpose of the union and the soldiers who fell in battle." This lapse of delusion occurred in front of a friendly audience. Overall, Barack Obama seems to be slipping into a slightly more delusional state these days.

On Monday, following his embarrassing answer on Saturday, Obama stopped by the Washington Nationals home opener to loft an effeminate toss toward home plate constituting the ceremonial first pitch. After this display, Obama was mucking it up in the press booth talking about his love of the Chicago White Sox. The announcers asked Obama which players he supported growing up a White Sox fan. After hemming and hawing for about 30 seconds, Obama responded that he grew up in Hawaii and was actually an A's fan. Again, he avoided mentioning any players by name. Obama seems to believe that he can say whatever he wants, and not reap the consequences or be forced to defend his empty assertions. Obama behaves in a manner so disconnected from reality that he is shocked when someone has the audacity to question him. Obama acts like his word is infallible.

In March of last year Obama was on "60 Minutes" with Steve Kroft. Throughout the interview as Kroft questioned about the economic downturn and people losing their life savings, Obama just kept laughing. A one point CBS's Kroft stopped him and asked, "Are you punch drunk?" [Remember mainstream media tried to excuse his behavior away by saying he'd been traveling a lot]. How will the American people react to seeing their president laugh off their predicament? Obama's inappropriate continuous laughter clearly demonstrates he has lost touch with the pain that people are feeling.

Obama portrays himself as the larger-than-life figure towering above the political fray. At the summit when Obama was pushing his healthcare package through Congress, he attempted to act as if he were the chief arbiter of truth. With petty insults, he slapped down what the Republicans proposed and audaciously claimed his was a "bipartisan bill." Obama distorts the truth with such frequency that one must start to question if Obama even realizes he is lying or is so disassociated from the truth that he believes what he says.
A further example of Obama's delusions of grandeur occurred when he gave himself a "good solid B plus." Believing that his presidency was an above average success when America is hurting is absurd. Obama went so far as to claim that he would give himself an "A" once healthcare was passed. Obama is not living in the same reality as the rest of us.

As Charles Krauthammer wrote, "Not that Obama considers himself divine. (He sees himself as merely messianic, or, at worst, apostolic.) But he does position himself as hovering above mere mortals, mere country, to gaze benignly upon the darkling plain beneath him where ignorant armies clash by night, blind to the common humanity that only he can see."

Obama sees himself as the greatest man to be president in all time. He truly believes it when he said "we are the ones we have been waiting for," and "this is the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and the planet began to heal." He believes that he can do anything he pleases and the people will love him for it. Obama plans to radically transform this country and go down in history as, in his mind, the greatest ever. Obama is clearly disconnected from reality.

Obama is, according to Newt Gingrich, "potentially the most dangerous (president), because he so completely misunderstands reality." Gingrich was referring to Obama's inept and weak stance on missile defense amongst other things. Even Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that Obama is an amateur; so much for wowing the world. Obama lives in an alternate universe where he treats our friends poorly and expects our enemies to change and become our friends. Here's hoping that the voters help to connect this president back to reality in November.

I am not going to waste time researching out all the examples, but one thing comes to mind, the phrase "The chickens have come home to roost." Wright said that, not Obama, fine, but Obama called this man his spiritual mentor and he swallowed his hate and swill for 20 years, and by not denouncing this in a forceful way and standing up to this pathetic man, I think he believes the stuff spouted out by him, otherwise he would have denounced it for what it was, which is the worst of the worst. Fact is, Obama has talked much about understanding terrorists and all of that crap instead of condemning it. Only the blind cannot see Obama's hypocrisy in regard to whether he actually likes America or blames it. He spent much time going around the world apologizing for America's past sins, and I guess only you have been too deaf and blind to know about it, cyclops.

I for one am not going to lack the courage or moral spine to denounce hatred for what it is, and I do not believe anyone that admired somebody like the Reverend Wright should have ever come close to being qualified to be president of this great country.

H2OMAN, all the more reason for the Republicans to have a spine and defeat any effort to install a new justice that will make every effort to twist and re-interpret the constitution to their own liberal agenda. We desperately need a person that will uphold the constitution, period, somebody with morals and principle of character.

@okie,
As I thought; you have no evidence that Obama has ever denounced America. The most you can do is try to tar him by association. So when you said he was going around the world denouncing America, you were lying.

You spout crap as hateful as Wright every day - just about Obama instead of America. Should people on A2K denounce you?

Too blind to know about it? I agree with what he said! The only people who are hurt by apologies are the Prideful, Okie, and you know what the good book says about them.
