I'll take that bet...Reading someone else's flowery words with only a few ummms and strategic pauses and the occasional finger point is not difficult.
Obama writes his own speeches for the most part; I read a great article detailing the life of his speechwriter during the campaign, who described himself as a 'highly-paid guy who polishes someone else's work.'
Nice try though.
Quote: James Earl Jones comes to mind as someone who reads better than Obama. Most pastors and tv/radio personalities do equally well. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity do it as well or better than Obama. In fact, the narrations skills of pretty much every person that does "Books on Tape" can be favorably compared to Mr. Obama. It's not that hard...
You are trying to prove that Obama isn't a good orator, by pointing out that other people are also good. This is logically fallacious. The fact that others are good as well doesn't mean anything at all, re: Obama.
Your assertion that Limbaugh and Hannity are as good orators as Obama is such a joke, I don't even know where to begin. It is laughably ignorant on your part and so transparently partisan.
Quote:This TOTUS is a pretty funny gag for us conservatives and you should leave it at that. You guys are getting awfully thin-skinned if you now feel compelled to defend how well your man reads from his teleprompter.
Imagine how funny it is to us, that this is what you have to stoop to to criticize the guy. This is what happens when you can't touch someone on substance - you turn to style and attack them there instead.
It's a pale shadow of the fun we had making fun of Bush, a true and complete idiot. You don't even know what you're missing out on.
