Cyclo, you appear to be just another coveter alias liberal, alias progressive, that is terrified of Sarah Palin actually winning the 2012 election. Calm down! Just because she rescued Alaska from much of its political corruption doesn't mean she will get enough votes in a presidential election so she can do the same thing for America. The current corruption of our federal government may yet survive 2012

the lesson of Palin is in how much credibility the elites have lost. The ******* up of the economy was just one of many straws. If Palin can reposition herself as a champion of the downtrodden watch out.

@hawkeye10,
The only reason that anyone would be afraid of Palin leading the country is because she is a truly stupid human being. You might as well have your cat chauffeur your car as her run the nation.

If you are a Palin supporter you are simply one plain, stupid, ************ who ought to be sterilized to prevent such mutant idiocy from propagating.

The only socially redeeming quality the woman has is to be used as an example to children of an intellectually incurious and wasted life.

I am certainly not, the idea of Palin as Pres is alarming on several fronts. But so is the idea of her being the VP candidate for a major party.....

The rise of Palin is a warning.....we best pay attention.

@hawkeye10,
There are about 29% of republicans who are hard core Bush/Palin supporters; they will never change their minds about their favorite president/candidate (for almost any office).

The biggest problem we now have is that the democratic base have become angry at Obama's administration, and they will stay home during the next few elections as more republicans get off their butts and go to the polls to vote. Moderates are a strange breed that can go for Palin if no other candidate looks "attractive" enough. Those are the same folks that voted for Bush twice.

Democrats are now in "self-defeat" mode, and Palin may have a good shot in 2012.

Sarah Palin despite her limitations is far superior to these mental cripples:
Gore;
Kerry;
Obama.
Pelosi;
Reid;
and Clinton (i.e., Hillary).

It's obvious from your ranking that the only one cripple around here is you!

Palin's limitations belongs in her own household taking care of her family; she's not even good at that!

Sarah Palin is far less alarming than what we have now. Lots of people are more nervous now than a long tailed cat in a room of rocking chairs. On many fronts, national security, no direction in Afghanistan or anywhere for that matter, destroying the economy, trying to ram Obamacare down our throats whether we want it or not, this current bunch is a disaster.

@okie,
okie, You don't know what "alarm" is until you have somebody like Palin in a position where she can make more stupid decisions than Bush. If you think you're ignorant about history, economics, and politics, Palin can't even remember if she reads any newspapers. And that was just an interview on a tv show! How do you think she'll survive against all the conflicts and confusion she'll be fed on every issue as president? Does she even understand anything about monetary policy? How about inflation? How about job creation? How about taxation? How about foreign affairs? If she tells any foreign dignitary that she has foreign experience because her state is a neighbor of Russia and Canada, she'll be laughed at and ridiculed, and rightly so.

Another black mark on Obama:
Quote:
PROMISES, PROMISES: A closed meeting on openness
By SHARON THEIMER, Associated Press Writer Sharon Theimer, Associated Press Writer 1 hr 43 mins ago

WASHINGTON " It's hardly the image of transparency the Obama administration wants to project: A workshop on government openness is closed to the public.

The event Monday for federal employees is a fitting symbol of President Barack Obama's uneven record so far on the Freedom of Information Act, a big part of keeping his campaign promise to make his administration the most transparent ever. As Obama's first year in office ends, the government's actions when the public and press seek information are not yet matching up with the president's words.

"The Freedom of Information Act should be administered with a clear presumption: In the face of doubt, openness prevails," Obama told government offices on his first full day as president. "The government should not keep information confidential merely because public officials might be embarrassed by disclosure, because errors and failures might be revealed, or because of speculative or abstract fears."

FRAUD!

Read Sarah Palin's book, "Going Rogue," then decide whether your characterization of what she can remember is correct.

In particular, read pages 271 - 279 where she describes her series of multiple interviews by Katie Couric, and Katie's editing of them for publication. Sarah's explanation of her answer to Katie Couric's question on "... what newspapers and magazines did you regularly read ..." will be found on page 276.

@ican711nm,
No need to read anything! I watched that interview with Curic, and Palin couldn't answer the question. Any ten year old can answer most questions after a few months stewing over what she couldn't answer on the hot seat.

You are clueless!

I bet you can't even see the whiny Palin bitching about John McCain, and being the "victim" of her handlers. How the phuck do you think she can manage real problems about our national security, economy, and foreign affairs?

The true "alarm" is that both Bush and Palin would still make better decisions than PrezBO would when in the same position.

Well you have to admit Curic hit Palin with a hard ball, I mean really she came right and up front asking Palin "what do you read?" Palin should have been forewarned.
